This simple and easy bok choy stir-fry is a perfect blend of flavors, ready in under 5 minutes. It's a versatile side dish that pairs wonderfully with rice or stands out on its own. Add some roasted cashews to this bok choy stir- fry and it'll make it taste even better.
So, lets get cooking!
Ingredients:
250Gg bok choy
3 tbsp. unsalted butter
4 cloves of garlic julienned
1 ½ tsp pepper
1 cube vegetable bouillon or ¾ tsp of salt
3 red chillies split into halves
Directions:
1: Trim the ends of the Bok choy and separate them into stalks. Wash, pat dry with paper towels, and slit the stems. Cut it crosswise if you prefer.
2: Onto a pan, add 3 tbsp. of butter and fry the garlic for a couple of secs.
3: Next, add in the pepper, bouillon, and red chilies, and stir fry for a couple of seconds.
4: Once all the ingredients are well incorporated, add in the Bok choy and stir fry for around 30 seconds on medium heat until the Bok choy stems turn soft and slightly translucent. Remove from heat and serve immediately to prevent the Bok choy from overcooking.
5: Serve this bok choy stir-fry with warm jasmine rice and enjoy immediately for the best flavor and texture.
